Aged in new French oak, and extended maceration for 30 days. This wine offers aromatics of cherries, dried figs, menthol, cocoa, and leather. With a bright acidity and medium tannins that evenly coat your mouth, the palate is full bodied tasting of black currant, dark cherries, pine needles, and bay leaves with a long lingering finish of smokey leather.
Aged in new and 2-year-old French oak barrels for 16 months. This beautifully textured wine is full bodied with velvety tannins. Aromas of fresh blackberries, thyme, black pepper, and mushrooms. Perfume of fresh dark stone fruit and black cherries, traces of black pepper, mushrooms, and eucalyptus. Medium bodied, the flavors are redolent of Italian plums and dark cherries. Smooth tannins lead into the spicy, smokey finish.
